Bark N Ride – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Bark N Ride, a peer-based network of dog professionals who coordinate ride sharing to transport one another’s dogs & puppies. By joining or participating in Bark N Ride, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Purpose of the Network
Bark N Ride is a community platform designed to help verified dog professionals (including but not limited to breeders, trainers, and handlers) connect with one another to coordinate shared transportation of dogs. Bark N Ride does not operate as a commercial carrier or brokerage.

 

2. Eligibility
Participation is limited to dog professionals who:

  • Are legally able to work and transport animals

  • Maintain any required licenses, permits, or insurance for their role

  • Agree to follow humane handling, safety, and welfare standards

  • Bark N Ride reserves the right to remove participants at its discretion.

 

3. Independent Responsibility
All ride-sharing arrangements are independently agreed upon between participants.
 

Bark N Ride:

  • Does not supervise, manage, or guarantee any transport

  • Is not responsible for pricing, routes, timing, or logistics

  • Is not liable for the actions or omissions of any participant

  • Each participant is solely responsible for their conduct, equipment, vehicle condition, and compliance with laws.

4. Dog Welfare & Care
Participants agree to:

  • Transport only dogs that are fit for travel

  • Use appropriate crates, restraints, ventilation, and climate control

  • Follow humane handling and welfare best practices

  • Communicate clearly about health, temperament, and special needs

  • Any concerns about dog safety should be addressed before transport begins.

 

5. Training & Community Standards
To maintain a safe and drama-free environment, Bark N Ride may require:

  • Orientation or training prior to participation

  • Adherence to shared standards and expectations

  • Respectful, professional communication

  • Harassment, misrepresentation, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the network.

 

6. Payments & Expenses
Bark N Ride does not process payments for any travel, only a monthly subscription fee to access the platform.
All compensation, cost-sharing, or expense reimbursement:

  1. Is arranged directly between participants

  2. Should be agreed upon and paid in advance

  3. Is the sole responsibility of the parties involved

 

7. Liability & Risk Assumption
Participation involves inherent risks related to animal transport.
By using Bark N Ride, you:

  1. Assume all risks associated with transporting or entrusting dogs

  2. Release Bark N Ride from liability for injury, loss, damage, delays, or disputes

  3. Agree to hold Bark N Ride harmless from claims arising from your participation

 

8. Insurance
Participants are responsible for maintaining any insurance appropriate to their activities, including vehicle and animal-related coverage.
Bark N Ride does not provide insurance of any kind.

 

9. Privacy & Conduct
Participants agree to:

  • Use shared contact information responsibly

  • Respect confidentiality and privacy

  • Do not misuse the network for solicitation, harassment, or non-related activities

 

10. Changes to These Terms
Bark N Ride may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any changes.

 

11. Acceptance
By joining or participating in Bark N Ride, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Bark N Ride is a community built on trust, professionalism, and shared responsibility for dog safety.
